Guideline Ambient Working Conditions are between 15-20 degrees Celsius with up to 68% humidity.
Please note: If working conditions are outside these parameters curing and workable times may vary from the times given.
Optimum ambient conditions are between 15-20 degrees Celsius the mix ratio is 2% Catalyst.
Temperatures below optimum condition for example 10-15 degrees Celsius mix ratio will increase to 4%.
Temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius the mix ratio will decrease 1%.
Example 6 drops of Catalyst to 10ml of resin =2%
Working Time Guideline:
Approximately 10-15 minutes
Gel Time Guideline:
Gel time is measured from the time the gelcoat has been applied to when it has cured enough so that it does not pull off when touched, but isn’t fully cured and is optimum for putting a second coat on.
Gel time = Approximately 30 minutes - 1 hour
Ambient Cure Guideline
Approximately 8-12 hours
